Crosshatch Lace Socks - WIP
Here's a rather bad photo of my current sock project. It's the Crosshatch Lace pattern from the fabulous book More Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch! I think this may be the first pattern I've knitted from this book and also the first time I've knitted with Koigu yarn. The yarn feels lovely but I'm a bit disappointed with the way the colours are appearing on the sock. They looked so pretty when they were in their skeins. I've been trying to take a photo of my sock progress all week and I've taken lots of photos but practically all of them are blurred and dark. This is the best of a bad bunch. I took this outside of work propped up on the window sill! Hopefully I'll finish these socks over the weekend and will post another finished photo then.Labels: Crosshatch Lace, Koigu, More Sensational Knitted Socks

I've got plans for this pattern as well. I'm looking forward to seeing them finished.
I think the colours are lovely, very subtle, and the pattern is very attractive indeed. It looks better than in the book.
... Oooh! I'd passed right by that pattern in the book, but yours looks fab.
Oh I love that pattern! So pretty!
It's such a shame when yarn knitted up doesn't live up to it's promise on the skein. Hope these grow on you, I think they're pretty :)
The pattern is pretty, I hope the colours grow on you.
What pretty colours on such a pretty sock pattern. What a shame you are disappointed with the colours,I think it looks super and look forward to seeing the finished photo
I think they are really pretty. But I know what you mean, I often buy yarn that looks stunning in the skein but just doesnt deliver when knitted up.
I hope the colours grow on you too.
The Kipling shop I bought my bag from is just along from Harrods btw. All handbags and purses were half price, with 30% off luggage. hth
I think it looks very pretty - such a lovely pattern!
