Mini Monkeys Finished

I finished my Mini Monkey socks the other day. I had spotted some Mini Monkeys over on January One's Blog and thought they looked so pretty. The pattern has been slightly modified and has a little picot cuff and a shorter leg length. The foot is longer than the socks I usually knit for myself and I hope it's the right size for my friend. I wanted to knit her a pair of socks for her Christmas pressie and decided on this pattern. I hope she likes them.

I decided to knit these in pink for this months Sock-A-Month competition on the Crafty Threads & Yarns Forum. N from The Yarn Yard has kindly offered an extra prize draw for socks knitted in Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Ravelry

I don't seem to have posted anything for ages!!! I recently got my invite to Ravelry and have been spending a lot of time on there adding friends, books, stash and projects. I also seem to spend a LOT of time looking at other peoples patterns and projects! Too much time!!!!

I also wanted to say a big thank you to Piglottie who has been helping me sort out how to get a Ravelry button on my blog. I'm such a techno numpty but hopefully it's working ok. If anyone wants to add me to their friends, I'm on Ravelry as Hawkesley.
